Upset little girl and frustrated parents

Minimize the impact to the children

An adversarial hearing between parents is the single most devastating event in the lives of the children of divorce.

Because both attorneys have the same philosophy, the parties avoid the tricks of the divorce trade that only enrich the attorneys at the expense of your children.

Minimize the financial and emotional cost

Some attorneys purposely stir up trouble in order to extend the case, putting more money in their pocket. But this approach produces bitterness, recrimination, stress, and anxiety. We strive to keep process as easy and calm as possible.

When both spouses choose an attorney from the center for divorce management, the common objective is to complete the divorce in the quickest, least time intensive way possible. This reduces the cost of the divorce because it’s fewer hours billed.

Avoid an ugly "scorched earth" divorce

The key is both parties having access to like-minded attorneys. If even one spouse hires the wrong attorney, then scorched earth, bitterness, and recrimination are soon to follow.

When there are children involved, the best divorce is one that ends with both parties being able to be in the same room and be civil to one another.

Who you hire is important

The single most important factor in how much damage is done in a divorce is decided by who the parties hire to represent them. One destructive attorney is all it takes to make the divorce miserable for everyone involved.

We are a community of local attorneys that each understand the need to manage the damage done by divorce. Each attorney in our organization has committed to being part of the solution, rather than part of the problem.
